caravan of the indigenous women’s
Connecting territories, uniting voices, strengthening struggles

Our Caravan is an ancestral and strategic crossing that connects indigenous women in multiple territories, strengthening women’s voices, political struggles, and community wisdom.
The Caravan is our constant journey for unity. Ancestral movement, open path and meeting of voices of indigenous women from the most diverse territories.
We travel through the biomes of Brazil carrying in our chest the strength of political articulation, community resistance and female collective power.
Our Journey Here
Our crossing in 2022 marked a firm step through 27 territories spread across the six Brazilian biomes: Amazon, Cerrado, Caatinga, Atlantic Forest, Pampa, and Pantanal. At each stop, meetings full of ancestral wisdom, vibrant conversation circles and workshops that sewed the strength and dreams of indigenous women.
We connected more than 500 women in our actions. Living seeds of change, which multiplied knowledge and strengthened community networks, deepening roots in the defense of territories and the environment.

What we've already transformed
The Caravan has already flourished new dialogues and strengthened the sense of belonging and power of indigenous women. Each territory visited now echoes louder, aware of their struggles, their rights and the need to protect land and life.
More than numbers, we leave living stories, amplified voices, and a solid legacy for the next generations. The connections created are now an open path to new conquests and organized resistance.

We are moving towards COP30 with even more strength and clarity, bringing the voices of indigenous women to the global debate on climate change and environmental protection. The 2025 Caravan will connect even more intensely the local struggles of indigenous women to global challenges, courageously confronting gender-based violence and standing up for climate justice.
We continue together, guided by ancestry and the strength of biomes, in defense of life and territory.
