The National Association of Indigenous Warriors of Ancestry (ANMIGA) was born from the strength of five centuries of struggle and resistance. In 2019, during the first Indigenous Women’s March, under the theme “Territory: Our Body, Our Spirit”, the collective power of Indigenous women became a way forward.
From that moment on, a national network emerged, intertwined by diverse knowledge systems and ancestral traditions.

We are indigenous women from the six biomes of Brazil.
We are roots and seeds, women of the biome and women of the Earth, intertwined by a collective network in defense of our bodily territories, the life and memory of our peoples.
